Our Amazing Bodies

The lovely Chantelle, who is a scientist from the bone show, came to visit with both our centres on Thursday. Chantelle gave us lots of information about bones. Some things that we learnt were that inside our bones our body makes blood and that foods like broccoli, cheese, milk, fish, oranges and yogurt are sources of calcium for our bones. We saw pictures of animals that had skeletons and found out that a jelly fish doesn’t have any bones. She also told us that our brain sends signals down our spine to other parts of our body to move.
A HUGE Thank You to Chantelle for visiting with us.
