We have welcomed our ELLA Language Trial Ipads into our Kindergarten Rooms.

The Japanese app gives children the opportunity to develop recognition of the different sounds and concepts of another language through play-based learning. Children are introduced to words, sentences and songs that are age appropriate. As children engage with the apps throughout the year, language concepts will be introduced, reused and extended to scaffold children’s language awareness.

All of the Kindergarten children have been very excited and eager to have a go and already Hello and Hello, My Name Is phrases are beginning to be used by the children.
